How to use the Spot Trading Interface

The trading interface of KuCoin can seem intimidating when trying to use it for the first time.

In the following, we will go into how we open and use the trading area.

You will then better understand how to use the spot trading interface and how it is structured.

Once you log in, hover over ‘Trade’ in the top bar and click ‘Spot Trading.’

The following screenshot shows you what the trading interface looks like when you open it.

  1. To change or select other coin pairs, click here.
  2. Here you can set different time frames.
  3. To search and add indicators, click here.
  4. This is the order book.
    • The order book lists a coin’s current open buy and sell orders.
  5. In this section, you can see your order and trade history and your open orders.
  6. Here you can choose what type of order you would like to make.
  7. Buy / Sell selector.

To open a trade, select whether you want to sell or buy, enter an amount and price, and click ‘Buy / Sell’.
