Anti-Phishing Code KuCoin

Creating an Anti-Phishing Code on KuCoin allows you to verify whether an email you have received from them is genuine or not.

Emails you receive from KuCoin will from now on have your Anti-Phishing Code in the beginning of the email. If you receive an email that looks like it comes from KuCoin, but does not contain your code, you can immediately spot it as a fake e-mail. In this case you should not click on any link or download contained therein.

Here we can see the overview of the assets.

In the top right corner hover over the circle with your initials and click on ‘Account Security’.

Now you are in the Security Settings. There you go to ‘Email Anti-Phishing Code‘ and click on the button on the right hand side labeled ‘Configure’.

After you pressed the button, you get directed to this site.

Just click on ‘Configure’ and a text box appears.

Then, you can enter your Anti-Phishing code. Think of what you would like as your code, and enter it here. Your code can be any combination of letters and numbers, but it can’t contain spaces, or any special characters.

Then click on ‘Submit’.

Now your Anti-Phishing code is set up and from now on every e-mail you receive from KuCoin will contain this code.
