Trading Password KuCoin

On KuCoin it is possible to set up a trading password. You will be asked for this password whenever you make transactions, withdrawals or other operations. This increases your account security, but can also be annoying during Minute-Trading, since you are constantly asked to enter your password.

In the following we will go into how to set up a trading password.

Here we are at the overview of the assets.

At the top right corner hover over the circle with your initials and click on ‘Account Security’.

Now you are in the Security Settings. Go to Trading Password and click on the button on the right hand side labeled ‘Configure’.

If you have already set up your Google Authenticator, you will now be asked for your 2FA Code before you can set up your trading password. Type it in and then press ‘Next’.

Now you can set up your trading password. You have to enter it twice to approve it and then click on ‘Confirm’.

Now your trading password is set up and you can change it at any time. If you want to change the trading password, please note that you will not be able to withdraw money from KuCoin for 24 hours.
