Google Authenticator KuCoin
The 2-Factor Authentication plays an important role in keeping your funds safe. It is not a requirement, and there is also a SMS and an E-mail authentication available.
To set up a Google Authenticator in KuCoin, follow the guide:

Here we can see the overview of the assets.
In the top right corner hover over the circle with your initials and click on ‘Account Security’.
Now you are in the Security Settings. From there you go to Google Verification and click on the button on the right hand side labeled ‘Bind’.

If you have never used the Google Authenticator, you can now download it for either Android or iOS. Install the Google Authenticator App on your device.
Should you need help with setting up Google Authenticator, or want to know how to use it, we recommend this guide from Google: iOS, Android.

After you clicked on ‘Bind’, you get directed to this page.
Here we click on ‘Send Code’, to receive a 6 digit code via email. Enter your 6 digit code and click on ‘Next’.
Now you will see the Google QR-Code and the setup key. (first arrow)
Then, you need to open your Google Authenticator App on your device and scan the QR-Code displayed on your screen or type in the setup key.
To do so click the PLUS-sign on the bottom right on your phone in the Authenticator App.
After that, your Authenticator App is ready to go and you only need to enter the 2FA-Code that is displayed in your Google Authenticator App(6 digits). (second arrow)

The last thing you have to do after entering the 2FA-Code is to click on ‘Activate’. Then your Google Authenticator is set up and you are redirected to the overview of the ‘Security Settings’.
